Getting Started¶
This guide helps new users get oriented with AgriOS and complete common initial tasks.
Logging In¶
Open your AgriOS URL in a web browser (provided by your administrator)
Enter your username (usually your email address)
Enter your password
Click Log in
Note
If you’ve forgotten your password, click “Reset Password” on the login page or contact your administrator.
The Main Interface¶
After logging in, you’ll see the AgriOS dashboard with:
- App Switcher (grid icon, top left)
Access different applications: Farmers, Plots, Training, Trade, Sales, Inventory, etc.
- Search Bar (top center)
Search across records, menus, and documentation.
- User Menu (top right)
Access your profile, preferences, and log out.
- Navigation Menu (left side)
Browse records within the current application.
- Main Content Area (center)
View and edit records, dashboards, and reports.
Your First Steps¶
1. Update Your Profile¶
Click your name in the top right corner
Select Preferences
Review and update: - Display name - Email signature - Time zone - Language preference
Click Save
2. Explore the Dashboard¶
The dashboard shows key metrics and quick actions. Customize it by:
Clicking Edit (if available)
Adding or removing dashboard widgets
Arranging widgets to your preference
Common Tasks¶
Viewing Records¶
Open an application (e.g., Farmers)
Browse the list view showing all records
Click a record to view details
Use filters and search to find specific records
Creating Records¶
Navigate to the relevant application
Click Create or New
Fill in required fields (marked with *)
Add optional information as needed
Click Save
Editing Records¶
Open the record you want to modify
Click Edit
Make your changes
Click Save
Searching and Filtering¶
Use the search bar to find records:
Type keywords to search across multiple fields
Click filter icons to narrow results
Save frequently used filters as favorites
Understanding Views¶
AgriOS presents data in different views:
- List View
Tabular display of multiple records. Click column headers to sort.
- Form View
Detailed view of a single record for viewing or editing.
- Kanban View
Card-based view, useful for workflows and visual organization.
- Map View (where available)
Geographic display of records with location data.
