Cloudpepper is the recommended hosting partner for AgriOS, offering managed Odoo hosting optimized for production workloads.

Getting Started with Cloudpepper¶
1. Create a Cloudpepper Account¶
Visit cloudpepper.io
Sign up for an account or contact sales for enterprise plans
Choose a hosting plan that fits your requirements
2. Request an AgriOS Instance¶
Contact Cloudpepper support or Advance Insight to set up an AgriOS instance:
Specify Odoo 18 for AgriOS 1.0.0
Request the AgriOS module set to be pre-installed
Provide your organization details for initial configuration
3. Access Your Instance¶
Once provisioned, you will receive:
Instance URL (e.g.,
https://yourorg.cloudpepper.io)Administrator credentials
Access to the Cloudpepper management portal
Initial Configuration¶
After accessing your AgriOS instance:
Change default passwords: Update the admin password immediately
Configure company settings: Set up your organization details
Install required modules: Activate the AgriOS modules you need
Set up users: Create accounts for your team members
Configure areas and groups: Set up your geographic hierarchy and farmer groups
Managing Your Instance¶
Cloudpepper Portal¶
The Cloudpepper management portal allows you to:
Monitor instance health and performance
View and restore backups
Access logs for troubleshooting
Request support tickets
Backups¶
Cloudpepper performs automatic daily backups. To request a manual backup or restore:
Log into the Cloudpepper portal
Navigate to your instance settings
Use the backup/restore options
Updates¶
Cloudpepper manages Odoo core updates. For AgriOS module updates:
Contact Advance Insight or your implementation partner
Schedule update during a maintenance window
Test in a staging environment before production (recommended)
Integrations¶
API Access¶
Your Cloudpepper instance supports standard Odoo API access:
XML-RPC and JSON-RPC APIs
REST API (if configured)
Webhook integrations
To enable API access, contact Cloudpepper support to ensure appropriate firewall rules are in place.
External Services¶
Connecting to external services (e.g., KoBoToolbox, payment gateways):
Ensure outbound connections are allowed
Configure API credentials in AgriOS settings
Test connectivity before going live
